▪️ They've already become one of the first governments to utilize NFTs as a way to recognize authorities who have leveraged digital technology to solve local challenges.

▪️ They're thinking of digitizing national identity cards.

📦 Japan is known for being a pioneer in technology and innovation. But cryptocurrency has had a rather difficult time progressing in the home of motorized sushi and Toyotas. Why? Since 2018, they've been experimenting with self-regulation — and they've been suffering. Hence, crypto ATMs are still being reintroduced, and crypto tax rates can go up to a terrifying 55%. Fingers crossed this policy decision foretells an acceleration in their efforts.

2. Balmain launches Balmain Thread: Their Web3 hub is designed to unite the Balmain community through NFTs.

3. Loewe's Minecraft-inspired collection epitomized trompe l'oeil ("trick of the eye"). Not exactly digital fashion, but worth noting for their ability to play with the real/fake duality.
