🏆 Let the Games Begin: On Thursday, @PolkastarterGG hosted the inaugural #GAM3Awards for Web3 games. It was exciting to see some of our favorite partners bring home the bacon, and got us even more amped for these Web3 gaming experiences to come to fruition in 2023. Check out our full recap here 👇

🕹️ Epic Move: Epic Games, maker of Unreal Engine and mega-sensation Fortnite, quietly launched Verse, a new open-source Web3 programming language for the metaverse. It intends to create with community governance.
⚔️ Overworld, not Underwhelming: AAA Web3 game Illuvium released a private beta for their "Overworld" game (in addition to winning Best RPG at the #GAM3Awards this week), limited to 30,000 pre-selected players. This is the second gameplay experience they've launched this year, following their "Arena" game and developers hinted that their third, "Zero," could launch in alpha before Christmas.
🛍 Brand New World
👽 For anyone keeping score, Reddit "Collectible Avatars" (NFTs 🤫) have surpassed 4 million unique wallet holders since launching in July of this year. A total of 5 million of these NFTs have been minted.
🎧 In another Web3 nostalgia brand play, late-90's classic desktop music player WinAmp is returning with integration for Ethereum and Polygon music NFTs. They are also planning a "cross-platform creator service that will launch in early 2023" as part of their push into blockchain.
🐰 Playboy is celebrating its 69th birthday in The Sandbox, because of course they would. 100K $SAND token is up for grabs.
