Expectations should be tempered — initial production is said to be very limited, with a high price point that would limit the application to commercial markets. However, the release will help Apple's manufacturing partners prove their technical capabilities and better position them for future AR/VR products.

🤝 Square Enix's metaverse debut. The game publisher behind Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider has been flirting with blockchain since 2019, and only recently made its first move. Symbiogenesis is an Ethereum NFT-driven web game.

Described as a "digital collectible art experience" anchored by NFT artwork, its anticipated launch is slated for Spring 2023. And in true Web3 fashion, the gaming community isn't exactly jumping for joy. 🙃
